About me
I am chef Ákos Lokodi. I have been involved in food product development for twenty-four years, leading kitchens for seventeen years, creating menus, inventing and preparing tasting menus, wine dinners, and street food dishes.
The use of high-quality ingredients has never been questioned, but what has always preoccupied me the most is the pursuit of perfect proportions in seasoning, flavors, ingredients, and presentation.
My Mission
The creation of my spice blends was inspired by a simple movement my mother used to make when she reached for one of the boxes lined up on the kitchen shelf in neat order. These boxes gave home to my grandfather’s own, carefully composed spice blends. This one movement, which has become almost instinctive over the years, symbolises, even embodies the notion of trust for me to this day. This unique feeling of trust was what I wanted to share with others when I created my own spice blends.
